Each year, the ETC invites a select group of students to participate in our Student Forum where senior executives from member companies -- Fox, Disney, Sony, etc. and various technology companies (Cisco, Thomson, LG, etc.) are able to interact with next generation consumers. The Student Forums are a valuable form of research and help shape the strategic plans of each company. We are currently looking for outstanding students to participate in the forum. The benefits to the student are many and include:
* Exposure to senior executives from major entertainment and technology companies
* In-depth insight into industry issues and politics
* Entertainment related perks – studio tours, movie screenings, posters/swag, etc.
* Unique position to influence the future of the entertainment industry
The ideal student:
* Is either an undergrad or graduate student
* Has a passion for entertainment products
* Keeps up-to-date on industry news
* Is able to express opinions on various topics in an articulate manner
* Will commit to attending monthly meetings
* Is willing to complete research assignments and make presentations to the board if asked
