ETC@USC STUDENT FORUMS

The ETC@USC Student Forums focus primarily on the thoughts and ideas of the students (next-generation consumers), bridging the gap between academia and the industry's technology community.

OVERVIEW

These Forums are informal focus groups/discussions where ETC executive sponsors (studio and technology executives) explore issues of entertainment consumption with USC students. Through the student forum series, we listen to the students’ needs and expectations, which we can learn from and factor into our future product offerings, and provide insight of technological advancements.

Each year, the ETC invites a select group of outstanding students, a cross-section from the University and the next generation consumers, to participate.

TOPICS

From previous meetings include:
• User-generated Content
• Digital Rights Management
• The Future of Home Cinema
• The Future of Advertising
