Panasonic Launches $600 Blu-ray Player for US Market

 Panasonic Corp. will release its second Blu-ray player (DMP-BD10A) in the US, early June 07. The new player is expected to set you back $599.99. But the drop in price doesn't mean a drop in performance. The new cheaper player is nearly identical it its older and pricier brother, the $1299.95 'DMP-BD10' model. Its even better than the original, the new model offers up native support for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD high-res audio formats. Panasonic also plans to package the player with 5 Blu-Ray titles.
