Best Buy Begins Selling Pinball Machines

Stern Pinball has announced that its flipper games are now available through Best Buy Co., a leading retailer of consumer electronics. Game enthusiasts can now purchase five of Stern’s popular flippers online atbestbuy.com, with in-store availability planned later this year. …

Pinball games now available at the retail giant’s website include Avatar, featuring a 3D backglass, speech and sound effects from the movie; the Tron: Legacy game, offering sound bites from the film’s main characters and music from its original score; … and Iron Man Classic, designed exclusively for the home market (it has no coin mech), featuring visuals, speech, music and sound effects from the Marvel blockbuster films Iron Man 1 and 2.
