Mark to bring digital art to city cathedral

A MULTIMEDIA artist from Teignmouth has been awarded a major grant to develop a digital project at Exeter Cathedral.

Mark Ware has been given £71,176 of Arts Council funding to stage a major digital and 3D project exploring the 900 years of the magnificent cathedral’s history. …

 

Entitled Cathedra 900, the work will consist of two parts. Part one will be an exhibition of Mark’s 3D digital artwork with 28 large banners which will hang throughout the nave from its 14 giant columns. They will be viewed by people wearing 3D glasses.

The exhibition will run from July 23 until August 31. …
