SIGGRAPH 2023 || New Worlds, Adventures into Computer Vision Problems for Creative 3D Worlds

August 8, 2023Los Angeles, California

ETC hosted its 8th vETC virtual conference at SIGGRAPH 2023 in Los Angeles, CA, August 8–10, 2023.

vETC highlights significant presentations of emerging technologies and their impact on the M&E industry. This event's speakers explore how procedural generation, machine learning, and other tools affect computer vision problems. We explore NeRFs and other amazing new tools that help simplify building 3-D worlds, along with many other cutting-edge technologies. The sessions were recorded and posted on ETC's YouTube channel.

Support with key resources came from HP, NVIDIA, FUSE Technical Group, and ROE, with supporting companies Sony, Blackmagic Design, The Studio-B&H, Cintegral, Wacom, Cooke, SmallHD, Mo-Sys, and AWS.

ROE is the LED wall partner. The system is designed and built by FUSE Technical Group with Mo-Sys for the tracking system. All additional supporting gear was donated by The Studio-B&H.
