3D TV Finds Favor Among Majority Of Consumers

The positive shift of consumer preference towards 3D TV and a corresponding movement away from 2D TV has been recorded for the first time in a survey carried out by Frank N. Magid Associates. The survey was carried out by the firm for Panasonic and included 500 individuals in a face to face question answer session. The number of test may be too small but there is an indication alright if the results are anything to go by. A whooping 71 percent of the respondents said that 3D TV is “much better” or “dramatically better” than 2D TV, while 99 percent of all attendees answered that it was “somewhat better.”

Fifty percent of the respondents also had the statement of “I wish I had this in my home.” Similarly, 34 percent of the respondents also felt that 3D TV “brings things alive in a way I’ve never seen before.” As far as the experience of viewing 3D TV goes 27 percent attendees used the term “fabulous”.  …
