3D/4D ultrasound options for local women

He seemed to be relaxing, lying with his hands behind his head, elbows sticking out. He then took his fist and rubbed his eye. Most times these actions can be very mundane and commonplace but not for expectant parents who are seeing their baby during a session at UC Baby 3D/4D Ultrasound.

The business which opened on Carlos Street, Woodbrook, Port-of-Spain, at the beginning of March this year, is allowing local mothers to bond with their babies while they are still in the womb. 

Owner Marcus Jagdeo explained, “We are not focused on the diagnostic aspect of ultrasound, we are more about bonding with the developing baby. …

Unlike most local obstetricians or gynaecologists who offer 2D images or the few that offer 3D shots of the baby, UC Baby offers both 3D images and 4D feeds of the foetus. They also take the time to focus on the baby’s face and features unlike most OB/GYN who are conducting ultrasounds to ensure the baby is in good health. …
