3DS Launch Details Leaked Early

A German newspaper has reported details of Nintendo’s plans for launch of the 3DS

According to German newspaper Bild, the 3DS will launch in Japan on 11 November this year, hitting Europe during the first quarter of 2011. Sounds pretty plausible to us based on previous nuggets of information.

Mario Kart 3D, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, and Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle are being readied as launch titles, said the paper.

Finally, the device will cost around €200, which equates to £170/$270. Would you pay that for a stereoscopic 3D Nntendo DS – albeit one potentially far more powerful than previous models?

Nintendo previously stated it would announce it’s launch plans for the 3DS on 29 September – so look out for more on Wednesday. Alleged3DS specs were leaked last week.
