The 3-D aspect of television sets is something that remains the Holy Grail of the mobile phones. Only until now though because the LG Optimus 3D is here to satisfy the hunger that mobile phones have faced to date when it comes to the latest technologies. This phone will be the first 3-D phone in the whole world and the best thing about it is that it is not a concept that all. Instead, it is a reality has LG has announced that this phone will be launched in the United Kingdom and in many countries very shortly. It will be first announced formally at the Mobile World Congress 2011.
The LG Optimus 3D has all the ingredients to make it to the big stage as one of the best phones in the next decade. It could certainly change the entire face of the mobile phone industry in the same way that the Apple iPhone did in the year 2007. This is because, even though it has a touch screen display that measure 4.3 inches in size, it is the least noticeable aspect of the phone. The most interesting feature about this screen is the fact that it can support 3-D without any glasses. This means that you can enjoy all the 3-D content like you can do on the most high-end 3-D television. It has to be noted that most 3-D televisions do not come with this feature of being able to watch 3-D without using glasses. The LG Optimus 3D is one of the first device that is available at such a low price point to offer the 3-D experience to a lot of people.
The phone will be having the touch screen display that is not capable of the Apple iPhone 4 like resolution. However, it is certainly not a bad by giving a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The company has failed to reveal the internal memory of the phone, but it has been revealed that it will be having microSD memory card support to up to 32 GB. The presence of any other complimentary memory card within the package is also not known yet. The phone will be coming with a dual eight megapixel camera that is probably for the first time making its appearance in to the mobile phone industry. This is because it is not a normal eight megapixel camera, but a camera that can record 1080 p videos in a mobile phone.
The maximum that mobile phone cameras manage up until now has been 720 p video recording. Even though it is excellent, it is nowhere near the 1080 p video recording when it comes to clarity and this is a point that can be demonstrated by the use of the HDMI port in the phone. One can connect the LG Optimus 3D to any other device like 3-D television and view the record 3-D content. This is one of the very few cameras in the world that can record 3-D content.
