52-inch Glasses-free 3D Arcade Game – Let’s Go Island 3D

At AOU 2011 Amusement Expo, Sega exhibited Let’s Go Island 3D, a glasses-free 3D game to debut in summer 2011.

Let’s Go Island 3D is the latest game in the Let’s Go JUNGLE! Series, which has been very popular in game arcades. It’s an adventure action shooting game set in a tropical resort. The large 52-inch 3D monitor displays flawless 3D images to the player and creates an immersive experience more that any other 3D game so far.

“What Sega has done with 3D is, we haven’t just made the graphics 3D, we also have an air compressor blowing out air in time with certain events. Sega developed this technology for park attractions, and now, we’re using it in arcade games. So we’re basically providing a lot of entertainment in one package.”

“The game itself is very simple, so all kinds of people can enjoy it, including children, couples, and families. So we hope lots of people will have fun playing this game in 3D.”
