LG/Best Buy Bundle LW5300 3D TVs with Blu-ray 3D Player, 4 Pairs of Glasses

[Excerpt]

The manufacturer just announced plans to offer the LW5300 3D TV as part of a comprehensive bundle. So when you buy one of the two 3D TVs in that series, you’ll also get an LG Blu-ray 3D player and four pairs of passive 3D glasses, all for the price of the TV itself. All you’ll need to add is Blu-ray 3D discs!

Available in 47- and 55-inch sizes, the LW5300 Cinema 3D TV features passive 3D technology, which uses light, inexpensive polarized 3D glasses to create the 3D image. In fact, it’s very similar to what you see in your local movie theater. No emitter and no batteries are needed. Instead, the Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) optimizes the separation of images for the left and right eye, which are then filtered through the glasses, boasting brighter images and minimal cross-talk.  …

Both LG Cinema 3D packages are available now. The one with the 47-inch 47LW5300 3D TV has an MSRP of $1399.99, while the 55-inch 55LW5300 is priced at $1899.99. Best Buy has both listed now for $300 under LG’s MSRP.  …
