KOREAN PHONE MAKER LG has begun rolling out its second 3D handset in Europe, the LG Optimus 3D Max.
The original LG Optimus 3D might not have been the success that the company was hoping for, but that hasn’t stopped it from releasing an updated model. Improving on its older brother the LG Optimus 3D Max features a slim 9.6mm thick body housing a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3in ‘naked eye’ 3D touchscreen and Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich reportedly coming. …
“We are deliberately pushing the limits of mobile entertainment innovation with the Optimus 3D Max,” said LG mobile’s CEO Dr Jong-seok Park. “Our second generation glasses-free 3D smartphone is as thin and light as any other high-end smartphone while still delivering a spectacular picture in either 2D or 3D.” …
