3D Film Festival – Los Angeles – Sept. 30-Oct 3

Founded by 3D filmmakers, the “3D Film & Interactive Festival” is dedicated to driving innovations in the 3D entertainment industry and to help perpetuate the art and science of the medium.

Through its biannual and touring festival programs, “3DFF” will pay tribute to and honor the companies, technologists, and content creators, who have in the past and are currently pioneering the future of the 3D stereoscopic motion picture and video game industries.

“3DFF” is committed to educating both studio supported and independent filmmakers and game creators, so that they may more effectively learn to utilize the latest 3D technologies in order to reach their highest levels of achievement within their respective fields.

To advance technology and innovation within the entertainment industry
To provide a neutral setting for the entertainment industry, technology and electronics companies and to identify and discuss pressing issues
To understand the impact of technology on the consumer experience and the creative process
To connect and leverage the University of Southern California’s extensive research facilities, faculty and student body with companies
To provide insight about emerging consumer habits
To convene industry peer groups and partners to share knowledge and experience
To create an environment for testing and evaluation of proposed technology solutions
To help identify new business models for the entertainment industry
To improve the consumer experience and advance the art of entertainment as the 21st century unfolds
