Asus rolls out 23-inch VG236H 3D display with 120Hz refresh rate

Asus has churned out a new 3D-ready LCD monitor, the VG236H, and it certainly has more to boast about than just 3D support.

All of the three-dimensional viewing fun is made possible with Nvidia’s 3D Vision technology and the partnering of a pair of active shutter glasses, which are bundled with the monitor.

The 23-inch widescreen display sports a 120Hz refresh rate, a 2ms gray-to-gray response time, 400 nits of ultra-brightness, and a full HD 1080p resolution. Along with being able to tilt and swivel the screen as you please (to a certain extent), there are also five preset color options to choose from depending on the activity: gaming, theater, night view, scenery and standard.

Connectivity should also be a breeze with HDMI, YPbPr  and dual-link DVI ports. All of this can be yours for $499.99.
