Boxing robots in 3D would have looked too futuristic: Shawn Levy

With an action genre, why didn’t you attempt to make the film in 3D format, especially when every second Hollywood film is being made in 3D today?
Though the film is set in future, we had to give it a reality touch. With boxing robots in 3D, it would have looked too futuristic since it’s not an animated film. 

The film releases simultaneously in India with its US release. How important is the
Indian market for any Hollywood film today?
It has grown tremendously over the years. There is a huge consumption for Hollywood films, which was proved with super success of films like Slumdog MillionaireAvatar, Dark Night, X Men etc.  …
