Kannada movie buff Rajesh Babanna coughed up a little extra to watch some cool 3D effects in Jogayya, but all he got was mental agony — in 2D — and three wasted hours. His experience at two other theatres was no different, driving him to a consumer court in Tumkur. Jogayya burns exhibitors’ fingers
Since there was no 3D, Babanna says there was a deficiency in service and has sought a compensation of Rs 50,000 from each of the three theatres he watched the movie in: Prashant Talkies, Maruti Talkies and Sri Raj Talkies. The resident of Sira, Tumkur, also sought Rs 10,000 from each of them for the mental agony he underwent and Rs 10,000 for ‘wastage of three hours.’ …
Assertive audience

For instance, the audience at a Shimoga theatre forced the management to reduce the ticket rates of Paramaatma which released on Thursday.
