The Hop Farm in Paddock Wood announces plans to expand and add new dynamic attractions to its popular Christmas experience ‘Santa’s Magical Kingdom’, which will open its doors for the second year from 13 November until Christmas Eve 2010.
Santa’s Magical Kingdom will be even bigger this year with 11 different undercover areas inside the Hop Farm. New for 2010 will be a multi sensory 4D cinema adventure and an interactive ice walk way.
The event will be designed to take families on a journey through the Kingdom with Santa’s elves to enjoy traditional festive activities including meeting real reindeer and writing letters to Santa which are whisked away up the post office chimney. Children can enjoy interactive fun with the elves in the craft workshop before listening to Mother Christmas bringing festive stories to life in her story room. Families will also have a very special and private meeting with Santa in his study where children and their parents will be able to take home a Christmas present.
The festive adventure will have a modern twist this year with the latest technology in 4D cinema which uses 3D plus special effects. Families can also watch ice cracking and kick the ice around on the new interactive special effect ice walkway.
Plus, additional new attractions are planned for this year and these will be posted on the Santa’s Magical Kingdom website when they are finalised.
As well as the activities visitors can walk through beautifully created winter scenes including a snow covered forest and the North Pole.
Outside the Kingdom professional lighting will transform the Hop Farm and families can ride on a full size Victorian Carousel.
The magic starts on 13th November and Santa’s Magical Kingdom will be open at weekends and during school holidays until Christmas Eve.
New Chief Executive Officer of The Hop Farm Carl Partridge said, “By creating Santa’s Magical Kingdom on a much grander scale this year we are giving families a very unique attraction, mixing traditional values with new state of the art technology, to give Kent an unrivalled Christmas experience.”
The all inclusive Christmas tickets are now on sale at £27.50 per person between 13 November and 5 December and £35 per person between 10 December and 24 December 2010. School parties and group concessions available.
