CollegeHumor Media, an operating business of IAC (Nasdaq: IACI), is partnering with Nintendo to bring original, 3D comedy videos to the Nintendo 3DS video game system via the new Nintendo Video service. This partnership marks CollegeHumor’s first foray into creating original content for video game systems.

CollegeHumor will provide Nintendo with five original pilot videos, one of which will become a series.  The videos, a combination of animation and live-action, are created exclusively in 3D for the new Nintendo Video service and will run concurrently on CollegeHumor.com in 2D.

Paul Greenberg, CEO of CollegeHumor stated, “CollegeHumor is constantly growing and finding new ways to bring our audience our high-quality content, and we are very excited about the opportunity to work with truly innovative companies like Nintendo. This relationship brings a new dimension to the CollegeHumor brand, and we are looking forward to continuing to extend our efforts in the future.”

Nintendo of America’s senior director and general manager of Network Business Tony Elison agrees, “CollegeHumor is known for producing creative and entertaining content.  We look forward to sharing their 3D creations with Nintendo 3DS owners.”

The pilots will be available weekly beginning at the launch of Nintendo Video on July 21.
