Deutsche Telekom AG and Sky Deutschland AG are negotiating with the German Football League for the right to broadcast the Bundesliga football games in 3D, Focus reported, citing unidentified officials from Deutsche Telekom and the football league.

Bidding to acquire broadcasting rights in 2013 will begin in the course of next year, a year earlier than in the past, Focus said, without saying where it got the information. Sky Deutschland currently pays about 240 million euros ($305 million) a year to broadcast Bundesliga games live, the magazine said.
