Digital Media Wire Covers David Wertheimer's Appointment to Fox

Fox Broadcasting Co. has appointed David Wertheimer to the newly created position of president, Digital. The announcement was made Tuesday by Kevin Reilly, Fox president of Entertainment, to whom Wertheimer will report.

Wertheimer is now responsible for strategy, operations and ventures in digital entertainment and emerging media platforms. Websites, mobile apps, games, online viewing and other ways of engaging with the audience fall under this description. He also will work closely with Fox Networks Group and News Corp.
