CES Unveiled is billed as “the official press event of CES” – a sneak peek at some of the new products to be featured when the exhibition officially opens on Thursday.
Here’s a snapshot of some of the products shown today:
- LG BD 370: Blu-ray player and Netflix streamer capable of displaying HD content to connected TV. Will also stream YouTube and CinemaNow. Available in Spring 2009 for $299.
- LG Slim Wireless LED Backlit 55″ TV: Connects wirelessly to interface box to display HD.

- Minoru 3D Webcam: Consumer 3D camera that displays anaglyph 3D imagery in real-time. Quality level is nothing to write home about but cost is only $89.95. Touted as way for consumers to generate 3D content for YouTube. Can also be used via Skype which displays at up to 800×600 resolution. Available starting this week from Amazon.

- SuperSpeed USB: Based on USB 3.0 spec (completed in November 2008) enabling a reported 5Gbps signaling rate (download 27GB in 60-70 seconds) and backward compatibility with USB 2.0. Expect to see 3.0 products by end of 2009.
