A range of items from tablet PCs, smartphones to 3D televisions are on display at IFA, the world’s largest consumer electronics fair underway here.
Despite the US and eurozone debt crisis, the Sep 2-7 expo has a record 1,441 exhibitors and expects about 250,000 visitors from across the world.
According to a report released on IFA’s opening, tablet computers, smartphones and its apps, television with the internet and more entertainment functions, 3D and HD devices, networking for home and for people on the move are among the latest fashion trends in global consumer electronics market this year.
Although the US consumer electronics giant Apple is not participating in the expo, the design and market revolution it brought to the world can be sensed everywhere, with its major rivals launching their new products to challenge apple’s dominant position, the Global Times reported. …
Another prominent Japanese producer Toshiba is coming up with a brand new no-glasses 3D TV, named 55LZ2. Boasting a massive 55-inch screen with 3840×2160 pixels resolution, the 3D TV can be viewed from multiple angles for 3D images. …
