Technology is taking over the world and a South Georgia technical college is proving why. Moultrie Technical College is the first in Georgia to use a 3D learning tool.

“We are the first college in the State of Georgia to use Vizitech,” says Moultrie Technical College President Tina Anderson, E.D.D.
The 3D virtual learning tool is the newest addition at Moultrie Technical College.
“It’s very user-friendly and the students are very quickly getting benefits from it,” says Dr. Anderson.
Instructors say students will now be able to access more than 1,000 3D video lessons in subjects like chemistry and biology, all in the blink of an eye.
More than 2,700 students may toss their books for 3-D glasses for a more interactive hands-on experience.
“They can see the blood flow through the heart. They can see the contraction of the muscle,” says Nursing Director Robin Kern.
And the list goes on. The inventor of the ViziTech 3D Rover has a lot to brag about. He says not only has his invention raised test scores by 30 percent, it’s also very affordable.
“For a normal high school it boils down to a cost of about a nickel a day per student,” says inventor Stewart Rodeheaver. “So for people who are visual learners, this is really good and most of my class are visual learners.”
Rodeheaver says the 3D program says it’s utilized by the U.S. Department of Defense for training soldiers
worldwide.
