Mr. India in 3D

Mr India is all set to get a world-class 3D makeover. The same special effects studio that is working on the 3D remakes of Hollywood blockbusters Spider-man 4 and Ghost Rider will give the 1987 Anil Kapoor-sridevi starrer the international technology edge.

According to filmmaker Boney Kapoor, who is rehashing the Shekhar Kapur movie in 3D, Sahara Motion Pictures is involved in the 3D conversion of his science fiction film as part of a joint venture between Sahara Jeon Studio and GR8 studio, which is based in Vancouver. As part of this arrangement, the company is also working on the conversion of Spider-man 4 and Nicolas Cage starrer Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011).

The conversion will bring back to life scriptwriters Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar’s last work together. “
