Peter Gabriel discusses 3D for "New Blood: Live in London"

TRANSCENDING, PETER GABRIEL New Blood Orchestra 3D

I have been to hundreds of live events, V.I.P  (the enemy lol) and never,  not once , in all of those live events,  have I been moved and shaken to the soul as I was when I first put on my 3D glasses at the Showplace16, located in Crystal Lake IL , Regal Theater.
I sat in my seat and my eyes could not adjust , the film was blurry and I was concerned , I was impressed with Peter Gabriel’s beginning hums and the New Blood Orchestra was definitively tight. I fumbled and fumbled in my purse for my 3D glasses, feeling slightly foolish, as I had, when I was a teen viewing Friday the Thirteenth 3D.
I put the glasses on as prescribed by the direction of Blue Leach concert director (R.E.M, Snow Patrol.) I literally gasped as Peter Gabriel’s mic chord was hallow viewed in front of me. If as in a dream, I could have reached and touched the iconic-super vocal master, Peter Gabriel’s hand. I could count the buttons on his shirt, see the buckles on his combat boots, this was not 3D. What Omnivision , Panasonic, and at least a crew of over 200 have achieved in this concert film , Peter Gabriel (46 piece Orchestra) New Blood,  has NEVER been accomplished. Maestro-arranger-John Metcalfe , has put his name in the likes of Bernstein.
