At CES Unveiled, Seeker Technology Inc. showed its pipSqueak! Bluetooth phone notification device. The elegant, one-inch square metallic device, which clips onto clothing or purse straps, helps the owner manage her calls and keep track of her cell phone.
When the pipSqueak! is activated, an LED display appears behind the metallic surface. The display shows the caller ID of incoming calls, and gives the owner the options of ignoring the call, sending the call to voicemail, or activating a message that in effect says “please wait,” giving the owner time to find her phone and move to a better place for a telephone conversation. The pipSqueak! also activates when it is more than 30 feet from the cell phone, helping the owner keep track of her phone.
The pipSqueak! is expected to have an MSRP of $60 when it comes to market this summer.
