‘Roc’ Solid Security Encryption

Rocstor’s Rocsafe MX Mobile is a high capacity mobile encrypted storage device that is getting a warm reception among industryites who need to tote confidential video.

Measuring about 3×5-inches and just under two pounds, the device stores up to 12 terabytes of material on SATA drives that are HIPPA compliant and feature FIPS level 2/3 smart card protection (requiring both a PIN and a card to access data).

Video can be encrypted and decrypted in real time via USB 3 or Firewire inputs. Rocsafe MX Mobile authenticates the user every time it is plugged into a PC.

Prices run between $399 and $699 depending on storage capacity.
