The 42nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will showcase 40 digital films during the ten-day extravagnza, screening them through Qube server. The organisers have roped in New Delhi-headquartered Real Image Media Technologies Private Limited (RIMTPL) to project the 2D and 3D movies in four auditoriums during the fest here. …
IFFI this time has a special section for 3D films which will showcase the likes of The Cave of Forgotten Dreams by Werner Herzog, Pina by Wim Wenders and other half a dozen films. Mehta said that one auditorium at Kala Academy and three at INOX multiplex will be equipped to screen these new generation films. “With digital films, the viewing quality is much better,” he explained.
