Home to four sports franchises, The Staples Center in Los Angeles has undergone a significant AV upgrade, including a new digital video and content distribution system, and a $3.4m Harman JBL audio system.
Cisco’s StadiumVision content distribution system centrally controls and delivers targeted HD video and digital content, which is sent to more than 375 Panasonic displays located in the luxury suites (including 175 full HD 3D screens).
The sound system was designed to enhance the sound of touring production shows by allowing them to selectively use the installed system in a signal-delayed capacity. Staples Center will provide touring sound crews with a WiFi tablet for remotely adjusting delay times, EQ, and levels.
