Pioneer’s new AVIC-X920BT in-dash AV system, allows users to use their iPhone’s data connection to stream Pandora right to the car’s auto system. The iPhone must be connected to the AV system via cable. However, for some this may not be all that new; there are systems out in the market now that passively can take an audio stream and play Pandora.

But what is compelling about Pioneer’s new system, is that the audio system can display album art and  allow the user to control their iPhones from the system’s touch screen or steering wheel controls.
