At today’s Toshiba press conference at CES, the company shared the trends for televisions they expect to see in 2009:

Gradation is the new black: Toshiba’s PixelPure 5G technology will enable 4096 levels of gradation.

24oHz is the new 120Hz: Screen refresh rates that result in smoother action on screen double again.

You can’t be too thin: People prefer to buy thin flat screens.

There is no real sales volume over 55: Most people are opting for 55-inches or less.
