Filmmakers to learn 3D broadcasting skills at training programme
Filmmakers will be able to learn broadcast camera equipment skills to enable them to shoot three-dimensional pictures at a workshop.
Principal Large Format has announced that the three-day National Stereoscopic 3D Training Programme called Advanced 3D will take place next month – between January 25 and 27th 2011.
Cinematographers will be able to attend a series of workshops led by industry professionals and learn more about the advanced technology during interactive seminars.
The event is being sponsored by Skillset and the group’s director of film Neil Peplow said that this will be a useful programme to attend.
He added: “Industry professionals working in the UK Film industry attending these courses will undoubtedly gain a deep practical understanding of the economical and technological impact of 3D.”
Members of The Guild of Television Cameramen will also be able to take part in a workshop, entitled 3DTV – The Emerging Picture, to learn more about advanced video production equipment, which takes place tomorrow (December 10th 2010).
