UPC makes 3D move in Slovakia

UPC has begun offering 3D programming to its digital subscribers in Slovakia.

According the company, UPC Broadband Slovakia is now distributing a channel named HD, which is a 24-hour Czech language service and shows programmes in HD or 3D. In the case of the latter, it will appear on a regular basis each day at 11.30, 14.30, 18.30 and 00.30.

HD is offered in a package that also includes National Geographic HD, Discovery HD, Showcase, Eurosport HD, STV3 HD and History HD.

Separately UPC Broadband Slovakia has also added the Czech music station FUN1 to its channel line-up.
