All-in-one desktop PCs are gaining ground and popularity due to how easy they are to set up and how much comfort they offer. They take much less space and bulk due to their size and monitor-PC integration. In fact, I would describe them as the PC version of the iMac (or maybe a response to it).
PC Mag recently reviewed an all-in-one system by HP, called the TouchSmart 620-1080 3D. What makes this PC standout is the integration of stereo 3D into its set-up.
The HP TouchSmart 3D comes with not just a 3D display, but also a touchscreen. It actually integrates a tablet-like user. This UI overlaps Windows 7 and is called the “TouchSmart Magic Canvas system.” Users can choose to use it or the standard Windows 7 desktop “with a few clicks.”
The 3D in this system is active 3D and it comes with a single pair or glasses. Other specs include an Intel Core i5-2400 CPU, 8GB of DDR3 memory, an AMD Radeon HD 6670A GPU, a 23″ display capable of 1080p resolutions, and a 1.5 TB hard drive and two 3D webcams are also included. …
