You’re likely to be hearing a lot more about 3D TV this week as both Sky andVirgin Media begin rolling out their extra dimensional packages, and Best Buy is sensing a craze on the way. With this in mind, it’s just announced it’s going to be stocking 3D TVs from no fewer than six different gadget giants here in the UK. The question is, do you want to buy one, really?
If you’re excited about the prospect of having more to watch on a 3D TV than Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs again and again and again, Sky 3D kicks off this Friday, and Best Buy is on hand if you still need a supported set to tune in for launch. It’s just announced it’s selling 3D TVs from Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, LG, Sony and Philips.
The Philips deal is actually an exclusive, so if you want to get your hands on theCinema 21:9 3D TV model, you’ll have to head down to one of the chain’s stores for its 18 October launch.
