Hustler Video to Shoot Content in 3D

[By John Sanford, XBIZ.com]

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Hustler Video on Monday announced plans to expand its 3D shooting to include not only more big-budget features but also other lines and sub-brands as well.

Hustler’s first two 3D movies were “This Ain’t Avatar XXX” and “This Ain’t Ghostbusters XXX,” both of which were met with critical acclaim. “This Ain’t Dracula XXX” is set for a September release and what Hustler is calling its first 3D gay parody, “HIS Dracula,” will be coming out in January.

“The delivery of 3D content to the world of DVDs, television and the Internet is still in its infancy,” said Michael H. Klein, president of Hustler. “As the technology improves and makes it easier for the consumer to enjoy the experience — especially in their own home — we have committed to shooting 3D versions of our movies so that we are ready to meet the demands as the evolution of 3D delivery expands to all the mediums.”

Hustler Video will also begin shooting series such as “Bossy MILFS,” “Asian Party Sluts,” “Busty Beauties the A List” and “Barely Legal” in 3D, along with new parodies “This Ain’t Jaws XXX,” “This Ain’t Terminator XXX” and “This Ain’t Men in Black XXX.”

“This is a very exciting venture for us,” said Drew Rosenfeld, creative director for Hustler Video. “We’re revolutionizing the way people watch porn. It’s not just about satisfying a carnal need. It’s about the whole experience.”
