Irish firm in 3D creation for PSP users

[Inside Ireland]

Irish start-up Realview Innovations have created a device which allows PSP users to watch a movie on the device in 3D.

A handheld V-Screen produced by the firm fits onto the front of PSP screens allowing users to revel in full 3D viewing.

Speaking today, executive director Eamonn Ansbro said the company’s patented depth-enhancing technology was first developed for the medical industry to enhance depth cues hidden in existing images.

The Roscommon based company employs eight people recently was a winner of the InterTradeIreland Innovation Challenge.
