MINOX PX3D camera (Vertical 3D!)

Minox (Germany) will introduce a new product: the MINOX PX3D, a compactly designed digital 3D camera including a rear autostereoscopic display. Available in summer 2011 for 500 €. Special characteristics : 4 vertically aligned lenses !

Minox says : “The four lenses situated vertically above each other add to its catchy design. Four camera modules contained within the MINOX PX3D, create 4 photos simultaneously, each of which are located on slightly shifted perspective planes.” and also : “The camera should always be used vertically (the lenses being situated vertically/above one another). In this way, natural movement and human perception can best be simulated.” You understand that the way you want.

We expect more tech details to follow, as the majority of us have horizontally aligned eyes…..
