Nehru World School, Ghaziabad set up the firstInteractive 3D Lab to give a new dimension to the teaching and learning process. The new system uses 3D effects to enhance classroom learning. Activities like interactive quizzes, 3D experiments have been added. A theatrical approach is used to enhance teaching content by emphasising and highlighting the key learning points in each topic. The software is developed in liaison with educationists to make sure all content is factually accurate . This system is being used in India for the first time in a school.
A special projector has been imported from USA while 3D glasses have come from Hong Kong. The course content has been sourced from UK. Cogent E Services, a Noida based company helped the school in this venture. Arunabh Singh (Director , Innovation Management at Nehru World School), spoke about the advent of 3D in the education sector in the years to come.
