NintendOpinions: 3D is the Best/Worst Part of the 3DS

What do YOU think?

It’s nearly impossible to think of the 3DS without thinking of 3D. It is in the name after all. The visual effect has been both well received and panned by various critics. When Nintendo launched the original DS they gambled quite a bit by releasing a revolutionary new concept – two screened gaming. Many fans and critics thought the device would fail in no time, but the DS went on to become one of the fastest selling handhelds in video game history. So did Nintendo bet on the right pony? Is 3D the defining feature of the 3DS or is it simply a gambit to grab sales? Let’s take a look at both extremes of this opinion. Keep in mind that I am not pushing for either side, simply giving an argument for both.
