Tetris, Bomberman 3DS confirmed

Japanese firm and home of Bomberman, Hudson, has come out firing on all cylinders with six games confirmed for development on Nintendo’s upcoming 3DS.

Hudson’s official Japanese site confirms the developer is currently working on Tetris and Bomberman games for the stereoscopic 3D handheld, along with a new Bonk game, and a new title in the Kororinpa series – a platform-tilting game with marbles instead of monkey balls.

The firm’s also confirmed a Deca Sports Extreme game, and a title called ‘Omega Five’ (temporary name). That last one is a side-scrolling shooter already available on Xbox Live Arcade, although it unspecified whether the 3DS version will be a port or a new game entirely.

Konami earlier today revealed plans to launch four games on 3DS, including the incredible-looking Metal Gear Solid and PES (Pro Evolution Soccer).
Nintendo confirmed last month that the new 3DS handheld will arrive in Japan in February, then in UK and US the following month.
