Tokyo Game Show 2011: Kingdom Hearts 3D Playable and Console Quality

When last we heard about it, Kingdom Hearts 3D (Also known as Dream Drop Distance) was nearing fifty percent completion. It was also revealed that the game would set up for Kingdom Hearts 3, which has yet to see an official announcement.  …

…  Talking more about Kingdom Hearts 3D, Nomura said it would have the quality of a console game, despite being for the 3DS. Quite a bold claim and one that makes sense, what with the ten year anniversary of the series approaching next year. Nomura hopes to release the game as soon as possible, and has even said he’s working on a Kingdom Hearts “HD Technical Test” as a way of introducing new players to the franchise.
